HuCoG 2000 IU is an injectable drug manufactured by Bharat Serums And Vaccines Ltd and containing Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) which is a hormone that supports the normal development of an egg in a woman’s ovary, and stimulates the release of the egg during ovulation. It is a very efficient compound to treat infertility in women, and to increase sperm count in men. It is a peptide hormone that has the same action as luteinizing hormone (LH).HuCoG is used by bodybuilders to improve results during anabolic-androgenic steroid use and in some cases to restore the testes. HuCoG comes in 1 kit x 2000 IU ampoule and solution.

HuCoG has the role to eliminate some of the side effects of anabolic steroids, as well as to keep to gain muscle mass. It is used by bodybuilders and athletes to restore the Testosterone levels, counter the testicular atrophy and to burn the fats in the human body. The last should be followed by a strict low calorie diet and is efficient among women as well. In case of testicular problems HuCoG works by sending artificial signals to the testes thus preventing their atrophy. HuCoG is given as an injection under the skin or into the muscle and the average dose during a cycle is between 500 IU to 1000 IU (every week to every other week). The dosages should be split in order not to provoke an increase in estrogen levels caused by the aromatization and eventually gynecomastia. While used in the post cycle therapy smaller but often dosage should be taken: 250-500 mcg every day for a period of 2 or 3 weeks. The smaller doses are enough to begin the reversal of testicular atrophy and HCG used in combination with Nolvadex or Clomid, will avoid raising the levels of estrogen to high and increasing the risk of gynecomastia. The HCG post cycle should start near the end of anabolic steroid cycle. Anabolic steroid cycles of 12 or more weeks should have HCG as a part of post cycle plan, while, if the testicular atrophy is not a problem the cycles of 6-10 weeks may not require HCG.
